An offer has been accepted.

- 03Searches received
The buyer’s solicitor can review the property searches.
- 04Legal questions answered
Outstanding enquiries have been resolved.
- 05Mortgage offer
The buyer has a formal offer.
- 06Contracts exchanged
The sale becomes legally binding.
- 07Moving day
Funds and keys complete the move.
Privacy and honesty
A useful view with clear limits.
Your progress
Your own milestones, relevant chain context, a current estimate if available and an explanation of what is waiting.
Another household’s details
Other buyers’ and sellers’ names, finances, legal advice and full property information stay private.
Move dates are estimates. They can change when a linked sale or professional step changes; Haste Est8 does not promise a completion date.
If a step is waiting
Waiting is a state, not a mystery.
A clear update can say what is outstanding and that the responsible professional has been asked for more information. It should not present an unconfirmed report as a completed step.
“Searches are still outstanding. The conveyancer has been asked for an update.”Example wording in the mover view
Getting access
Start with the firm handling your move.
Ask your estate agent or conveyancer whether they are participating in Haste Est8 and can provide a mover view for your sale or purchase.
Your view is connected to your own transaction. The amount of information available depends on the updates recorded and confirmed by the participating firms.
Keep speaking to your agent, conveyancer, lender or surveyor about decisions and work they are responsible for. The progress view helps you understand those conversations.
See how a linked hold-up is explainedQuestions buyers and sellers ask
A little clarity before you begin.
Can I see everybody in the chain?
You can see relevant chain progress around your own move. Other households’ names, finances, legal advice and full property information remain private.
Does “reported” mean a step is finished?
A source has supplied an update. Some milestones need further confirmation before the shared view treats them as confirmed. Your view should make that distinction clear.
Why can the estimated move date change?
Linked transactions, legal work, mortgage requirements and other steps can change the timing. An estimate helps explain the current position; exchange and completion arrangements need confirmation from your professional firms.
Who do I speak to if something looks wrong?
Contact the estate agent or conveyancer handling your move. They can review the underlying update, explain its status and identify the next action.
